Gracefully guiding seniors through important life choices

What is Ordinary Graces?

Ordinary Graces is a service dedicated to guiding seniors and their families through important healthcare, financial, and lifestyle decisions with dignity and grace.

We believe that seniors are treasures. They are our mothers and fathers, our grandmothers and grandfathers, our aunts and uncles, our friends and our neighbors. They are our storytellers and they are the holders of our fondest memories. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to be their advocates, consultants, and helpers—whether it’s assisting the elderly with the choices and responsibilities that come with this stage of life, or guiding their loved ones with strength and compassion after they’re gone.

WHO IS LAURA JACKSON?

Laura Fairchild Jackson knew she wanted to be an attorney the first time she read (her favorite book) To Kill A Mockingbird. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Psychology and Sociology and went on to graduate from Cumberland School of Law. From there, Laura worked in both the public and private sector of law, where she handled a wide variety of cases—from prosecuting and defending fraud to elder abuse.

Five years ago, Laura decided to combine her background in criminal law, sociology, and psychology, with her passion for helping people to establish Ordinary Graces. Together, Laura and Ordinary Graces serve as a constant and fearless advocate for the elderly—ensuring that clients and their loved ones are safe, secure, cared for, and “as happy as they can possibly be.”

Outside of work, Laura spends time with her big, supportive family, volunteers as a longtime member of the Junior League of Charlotte, and is an avid reader, sports fan, and baker.

Her personal connection and affection, her familiarity with the world of doctors, and her expertise as a lawyer made her the logical choice for the long, mammoth and detailed job she has performed.
